WHO: 14th annual LA Harbor International Film Festivalä (LAHIFF) presents
WHAT: A non-competitive, non-juried festival, celebrating movies with classics, debut film and video.
Programming by invitation and referral. Events include filmmaker participation, Q & A sessions
(subject to availability), and Hollywood Nostalgia Tribute (HNT).
WHERE: The superlative art deco Warner Grand Theatre (WGT)

WHEN: March 16-19, 2017
WHY: LAHIFF, founded in 2003, is a non-juried, non-competitive event that showcases film and video that
reflects the harbor and all that it embraces –shipping and commerce, fishing, sailing, water sports, sea life and the
area’s rich ethnic and cultural influences –to create a cinematic bridge between the people of the region and the
people of the world.
Key components are the FREE education outreach program “Read the Book, See the Movie” (RBSM) promoting
literacy and a more thoughtful way to view a film, March 16; Hollywood Nostalgia Tribute March 18 (HNT), and
DocSunday, March 19.
COST: Gen’l. Admission $10 per program; $2 discount (at box office only for some programs):
seniors, students, Los Angeles Maritime Museum (LAMM), Grand Vision Foundation (GVF),
Hollywood Heritage and other affiliations TBD.
Veterans and those currently serving in military free (if seats available).
HNT “Red Carpet Reception” (Mar. 18) is special event with no discounts.
