Event Description

 The Best of Manhattan awards ceremony is returning to the city at the Manhattan Beach Marriott on October 20, 2016 at 6pm. Now in its fourth year, it will bring together community leaders to spotlight innovation and excellence and will recognize the best and brightest of Manhattan Beach that embody the 8 categories set by the awards committee.

 

The categories for the 2016 awards will include: the all-around Best of Manhattan award, the Small and Mighty award recognizing a small or individually operated Manhattan Beach business, the Enhancing MB award for a non-profit organization that has brought tremendous value and benefit to the community, the Affair to Remember award which recognizes an event held in MB that is fun for the whole community and no cost to attend, the Home Sweet Home award for an individual within real estate, wealth management or mortgage profession who promotes excellence in service and ethics, the Shop MB award recognizing a store front in Manhattan Beach which is known for its customer service and satisfied customers, the Top Chef award recognizing an outstanding MB chef known for their attention to presentation, originality, and specialty, and the Pay It Forward award recognizing a business with a proven record of exceptional generosity.

 

The emcee will be award winning journalist and KTLA anchor/reporter, Mary Beth McDade.
