The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau hosts its President’s Day Sidewalk Sale in downtown Hermosa Beach Saturday, Feb. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Sale, sponsored by Southern California Edison, allows residents and visitors to browse through merchandise on the sidewalks of Pier and Hermosa avenues and take advantage of enticing discounts on the holiday weekend. Restaurants also offer specials and several businesses will participate in the scavenger hunt that gives shoppers a chance to win tremendous gifts.
This is the first winter sidewalk sale and one of three the Chamber has throughout the year. Businesses will showcase incoming products and move seasonal merchandise both inside and outside their retail locations; use of the city’s sidewalks welcomes shoppers who are looking for fantastic deals before the spring season and serves as an open invitation to explore displays and discounts inside.
“Our Sidewalk Sales bring the community together and provide an opportunity for our shops to showcase their unique taste. Hermosa is home to many interesting, independently-owned retailers that have apparel, home décor, extraordinary gift ideas and tasty snacks that deserve our attention,” said HBCCVB President/CEO Kimberlee MacMullan. “This President’s Day weekend is our first winter sale, so please come out and shop local! And you can eat local, too, as various downtown restaurants will offer menu specials during the two-day event. We’re excited to make this an annual post-holiday shopping spree!”
