Event Description

The King Harbor Association is a proud sponsor of the 9th Annual Earth Day Chalk Art

Challenge. This all-ages event is free and open to the public. Participants are invited to create a chalk art drawing to commemorate Earth Day. The first 100 children to sign-up on the day of the event will receive free non-toxic chalk and a reusable recycled canvas tote bag that they can customize with paints supplied by the King Harbor Association. There may also be a surprise visit from On the Wing Falconry, to showcase some of their amazing feathered friends.

The King Harbor Association is committed to promoting Redondo Beach’s King Harbor through their generous financial and volunteer support of community events and projects. The King Harbor Association is a volunteer organization comprised of local area business leaders who serve as representatives to build awareness of the Redondo Beach harbor area. The King Harbor Association sponsors several annual community events including the Super Bowl 10K Costume Contest, 4th, Earth Day Chalk Art Challenge, Free Family Movie Nights, Halloween Costume Contest, Holiday Boat Parade and local community art projects.
