In his storied career, smart-aleck stand-up comic Dave Attell, whose early 2000s’ Comedy Central series “Insomniac” arguably did more for the country’s nightlife hot spots than any hotel concierge ever could, has stood on a stage and discussed everything from racist dinosaurs to why Jagermeister commercials don’t exist. The former “Saturday Night Live” writer kicks off a one night engagement at the Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach this Saturday.

Weekend Wine Tasting at Total Wine & More and Barsha in Manhattan Beach
Total Wine & More is a spectacular retail experience for wine, beer, and spirit enthusiasts. It represents some serious competition for BevMo and even boasts an area for some wine tasting. This Saturday from noon til 6:00 PM, Total Wine & More will be offering wine tastes from Australia at all their retail locations, including the one in Redondo Beach next to the South Bay Galleria. Barsha in Manhattan Beach will also be doing some tasting while showcasing some local vendors. Guests get to sample over 25 wines for $25.
