The South Bay palate scored a taste of Hollywood this week when Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance officially welcomed an LA classic, Pink’s Hot Dogs, to one of their Patio Cafe spots. The bubble gets a little smaller with the arrival of Pink’s, no need to journey all the way to La Brea Avenue for a 9-inch Stretch Chili Dog with cheese and onions anymore.

An Evening of Music & Discussion with Guitar Legend Wayne Kramer : Friday, October 7, 2016 – 6:30 PM The 5th Annual San Pedro International Film Festival proudly welcomes an evening with incendiary guitarist Wayne Kramer and wife Margaret Saadi Kramer as they discuss not only the MC5, and music for film, but especially their charity Jail Guitar Doors (co-founded w/legendary UK troubadour Billy Bragg). JGD finds people who work in prisons — including San Pedro’s infamous Terminal Island Prison — and provides them instruments for rehabilitation. The Kramers also talk about juggling work and family life. This intimate night concludes with a musical performance, and is hosted by veteran music critic Steve Hochman of KPCC. 7th Annual Taste of the Pier, King Harbor & Waterfront: Sunday, October 9, 2016 – 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM The Redondo Pier and King Harbor Associations are pleased to announce the 7th Annual Taste of The Pier, King Harbor & Waterfront. The event is this Sunday October 9th and will include restaurants along the entire Redondo Beach waterfront. Visitors can enjoy a variety of small bites, live music and family fun while touring the pier, international boardwalk, and marinas throughout King Harbor during this event.
