New restaurant Restoration Kitchen & Wine officially opened their doors on Marcelina Avenue in Old Town Torrance yesterday and are open for business (evening hours only). Hopefully they enable a new trend of successful restaurants willing to take the plunge into Old Town Torrance. It’s a sleepy environment to plant a business in, especially one that will no doubt count on the support of weekend and nighttime eaters. Generally, Old Town Torrance goes to bed after sunset, just ask Chef Michael Shafer who recently closed Buffalo Fire Department. www.restorationwinebarla.com
