This time of year we tend to see tons of Halloween events pass trough our URL, so it will probably shock you to death to see a cadaver sized list of ghoulish happenings for our weekend post below. If you just awoke from the dead or have been living in a coffin for the last couple weeks, just an FYI, Halloween is this Friday. There is always a mixed bag of nocturnal events set to terrorize the South Bay when Halloween comes to town and this weekend looks horribly spooky with adult sized Halloween parties and special events for trick or treaters.
One Halloween tradition that runs from November 3rd to November 7th is a little less creepy than most as local Riviera Village dentists join forces for the 4th Annual Halloween Candy Donation. This year the dentists have teamed up with Operation Gratitude and are asking for all your leftover, unopened candy to be part of approximately 100,000 care packages filled with candy, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation that will be addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas. Last year they collected over 2,000 lbs of candy with the help of Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, local Girl Scout Troops, local school’s and local residents. more info
