It is now a bit cliche to start a blog post about craft beer in the South Bay with words like burgeoning or nascent, even the word growing seems a bit stale now. Verbs like exploding or demanding seem more appropriate today. What city will license the next group of craft beer alchemists, Gardena, Torrance, or Redondo Beach? It really is a joy to watch, taste, and write about what the craft beer industry around the South Bay is doing and brewing. One improvement happening between local brewers, besides brew quality and recipe experimentation, is the skill at which seasoned beer drinkers or novices can taste what’s available. Cross-promotional avenues that link brewer, consumer, and said service business like restaurants, brewpubs, & stores are truly ingenious marketing forces. Tap takeovers, beer dinners, cask contests, a free shuttle, pint nights, beer flights and a host of other craft beer promos now make beer tasting a daily or weekly event in the South Bay.
Below represents a list of various events happening in the next couple weeks that partner local brews, regional beers, and some national brands with all types of ways to sample craft beer. If you would like feature your brewery or event in our blog, please e-mail us at sbsuds@southbayevents.com.
