The age old trend of Fashion is a spirited engine that touches all of our lives, siblings, girlfriends, wives, and checking accounts. Its relative prices and styles fluctuate more than departure times at LAX and the best fitting fashion garments are those that strike a balance between confidence and compliments. An industry that’s been tempered by slow retail spending comes together Thursday night at Plaza El Segundo from 6 to 10 p.m. to celebrate a global event called Fashion’s Night Out. Never heard of Fashion’s Night Out?
It’s an unprecedented international initiative originally created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy during the recession. On Thursday, September 6, 2012, in response to overwhelming demand, Fashion’s Night out will return to New York City and cities across the country. Plaza El Segundo is celebrating Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) with a shopping and fashion extravaganza, and FREEBIES.
This free celebration of fashion will feature a DJ, cocktail parties and shopping. The glamorous evening will also include seven pop-up fashion shows in the Fountain Plaza next to Anthropologie, trunk shows, mini make-up lessons, official FNO merchandise giveaways and more. Alexis Bellino from The Real Housewives of Orange County will present her signature fashion line, appear at select in-store parties, and will be available for photo ops.
