The festival breathes through President’s Day Weekend with a gaggle of roots reggae talent and some South Bay favorites like Fortunate Youth and Common Sense. A bright spot comes form an old school reggae style band that plays homage to the melodic sounds of roots reggae in the 1970s, think Burning Spear. The Expanders would be a treat to watch live in front of a lake, a bar, or a garage. Loose control with reggae sounds from The Simpkin Project or listen to the original ganja farmer, Marlon Asher. Tha Dogg Pound and E-40 roll to the festival too as well as Tribal Seeds. Get an idea of the complete musical flavor for this two-day music festival on Good Vibe’s website.

Not-so much a stereotypical Southern California music festival, yet more of an island oasis type of environment, which will be filled with on-site campers, plenty of hand-crafted artisans showcasing their goods, along with a diverse array of cross-cultural food vendors, craft brewers and wineries, which will be a great-time for all fest-goers.

Both tent and RV camping are readily available, with nearly six hundred camping spots for both small and large groups. Early camping reservations are highly recommended. Tickets are priced at a reasonable rate of $40 for a 1-Day Pass, or $75 for a 2-Day Pass.
