L.A. Beer Week returns Saturday, September 20th with a more geo-centric producer this year as The Los Angeles County Brewers Guild puts together a launch event that features over forty breweries from Los Angeles county and around California. Tickets are still available online to LA Brewers Beer Week Kick-Off festival taking place in Downtown LA’s old Chinatown Plaza. The runaway freight train that has become craft beer in LA (& the South Bay of LA) is attempted to be reigned in and curated by the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild during LA Beer Week’s sixth run with aims at keeping the event as local as possible. Linking a craft beer fan in Van Nuys to what’s happening in Torrance is not easy, but education about craft beer in and around LA is one of LABW’s long-term goals.
