Paddle out planned for Andy Irons in Huntington Beach, paddleout memorial will be held in Huntington Beach on Nov. 14 for Andy Irons, one of the best surfers in the world who died last  week after battling a deadly viral infection.

The paddleout  for the three-time world champion will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the Huntington Beach Pier next Sunday on the south side of the pier, and the public is invited to attend.

It is being put on by Surfing, Surfer, and Ghetto Juice magazines, as well as Irons’ sponsor Billabong. The ceremony will commence at Huntington Surf and Sport, at the corner of Main and PCH, where Irons was once inducted into the Surfers’ Hall of Fame.
