Manhattan Beach foodies now have a new name for their favorite Mediterranean restaurant, as Open Sesame on Sepulveda Boulevard rebrands as Sesame Moe’s Mediterranean Grill. Restaurateur Moe Bonakdar selected the new name to reflect his personal involvement in the eatery, which has won multiple awards as the best Mediterranean restaurant in the South Bay from Beach Easy Reader and Beach Reporter.
“You’ll have to remember a new name, but you won’t forgot our savory menu or neighborly service, which remains the same,” Bonakdar said. “I am committed to serving the same heart-healthy Mediterranean recipes that our Manhattan Beach fans love. Our new name simply reflects my personal passion as a chef and restaurant owner and brands us uniquely in the South Bay.”

To celebrate the new name, Bonakdar will give back to the people who have made him successful: those in the local community who choose Sesame Moe’s for lunch, dinner or takeout.
