It’s the middle of another South Bay summer brought to you by an upwell of free events as there seems to be an increase of free activities happening around the beach cities during these warmer months. There has always been a strong roster of free concerts put together by the surrounding municipalities June through Labor Day Weekend and last summer the Hermosa Beach Concerts were headlined by a marketing genius (with unofficial ties to a pirate’s life) when Jimmy Buffet kicked off Discovery’s Shark Week south of Hermosa Beach Pier.
Summer feels like a grand time for fee event anyways, school is out and there’s an air of less responsibility blowing around, the days are longer & warmer and relaxation becomes more of an objective. Free Zumba lessons, free movies at Seaside Lagoon, free yoga, Malaga Cove Art on the Lawn, El Segundo Art Walk, every year summer around the South Bay seems less expensive.
Below are a list of South Bay Events happening this weekend.
