South Bay Weekend: TEDxRedondoBeach, The Dudes’ Brewing Co., Michael Feinstein, Music Under the Guns, Got Tires & More

Post Labor Day heat is now commonplace down here in the South Bay and will surely play a definitive role in everybody’s weekend agenda. Shade, air-conditioning, and a dip in the Santa Monica Bay, where South Bay beaches are registering an approximate 72 degrees, are easy answers to a sweltering Saturday & Sunday. So is cold beer. In fact, that down-home craft beer celebration that started in 2008 makes its annual fall return on September 20th. LA Beer Week starts with a kick-off event dubbed LA Brewers Beer Week Kick-Off festival taking place in Downtown LA’s old Chinatown Plaza.

The theme of local craft beer balances out this weekend too as The Dudes’ Brewing Company finally open their tasting room to the general public and the original home of Rock & Brews hosts their 4th Annual Local Craft Beer Festival. If beer related events aren’t your thing, look below as there are a number of leisurely pursuits going on this South Bay weekend that don’t require proof of ID.
