Universe Multicultural Film Festival Returns with World View on Cinema

Universe Multicultural Film Festival’s annual celebration brings together cinephiles, filmmakers and artists to explore some of the most original features in world cinema this weekend up on the Promenade in Rolling Hills Estates. This year UMFF will screen 57 short films from 24 countries, 18 feature films from 10 countries and 12 screenplays from five countries along with special artist tributes, panels, education programs and festivities.

The three-day film fest will take place Friday, April 17 and go through Sunday, April 19. UMFF will offer an opportunity to all visitors to find out and learn in a visual manner about different cultures, lifestyles, traditions and beliefs. All the screened films will be either voiced-over in English or contain subtitles to avoid any language barriers for the audience. All UMFF activities will be held in three venues: Promenade on the Peninsula (550 Deep Valley Drive), RHCC Community Center (735 Silver Spur Road), and the Peninsula Center Library (701 Silver Spur Road, all in Rolling Hills Estates), all within walking distance of each other.
