On the heels of their first Festival, the team is gearing up for a series of Quarterly special events, which will combine film screenings, music performances and art exhibitions.
The 2nd Annual South Bay Film + Music Festival kicks off this Thursday, June 22nd at the Hermosa Community Center with “Under the Arctic Sky” showing at 8pm.
This film follows 6 surfers along with adventure photographer Chris Burkard and filmmaker Ben Welland as they seek out unknown swell in the remote fjords of Iceland.
Full Line up of documentaries, short films, narratives and surf films are ready, and tickets are on sale at www.southbayfest.com. SBFF runs through the weekend ending on Sunday, June 25.
Festival venues include the Hermosa Community Theatre, located at 710 Pier Ave.; the Joslyn Community Center, located at 1601 N. Valley Drive in Manhattan Beach; and the Manhattan Beach Art Center, located at 1560 Manhattan Beach Ave.
